In 3102 BC, after the Kurukshetra War, Ashwatthama attempts to kill Uttarā's unborn child. For this grievous act, Krishna, the 8th avatar of Vishnu, curses him to wander the earth as an immortal, witnessing the downfall of society and morality during the Kali Yuga. Stripped of the divine gem from his forehead, Ashwatthama is condemned to a life of suffering, with redemption promised only through protecting the mother of Kalki, the prophesied 10th and final avatar of Vishnu.
Fast forward to 2898 AD, 6000 years later, where the last known city, Kasi, stands in a world ravaged by apocalypse. Supreme Yaskin, a 200-year-old tyrant, rules from the 'Complex,' a massive inverted-pyramid structure floating above the city. His regime is

maintained by Commander Manas, Counsellor Bani, and a vast army that quashes threats, particularly from the rebels of Shambhala, a hidden city whose inhabitants await Kalki's return. In this dystopian world, fertile women are abducted and taken to the Complex for 'Project K,' a sinister experiment where artificially inseminated foetuses are harvested to create a secretive serum for Yaskin. However, none of the women or foetuses survive past 150 days, the crucial gestation period for the serum’s potency.
Raia, a young girl disguised as a boy, narrowly escapes being conscripted into Project K with the help of Shambhalan rebels. Seeking refuge in a cave, she encounters the immortal Ashwatthama. Unknowingly, Raia carries Ashwatthama’s divine gem, which she returns to him, reactivating his powers. Realizing that a woman is pregnant with Kalki, Ashwatthama and Raia embark on a quest to find her.
At the Complex, SUM-80, a woman who has secretly carried her pregnancy to 150 days, is discovered and forced into the extraction procedure. Manas retrieves a single drop of the serum from her foetus just before she is rescued by Shambhalan rebels, who rename her Sumathi. While being transported to Shambhala, Sumathi’s group is ambushed by bounty hunters and raiders, though they manage to fend them off. Bhairava, a relentless bounty hunter, continues pursuing them with his AI-enhanced car, Bujji.
As Complex soldiers track down Sumathi, Ashwatthama and Bhairava arrive, clashing over who will take her. It is soon revealed that Sumathi is the prophesied mother of Kalki. Despite Bhairava’s efforts, Ashwatthama overpowers him, and they eventually reach Shambhala, where the tree of life blossoms in Kalki’s presence. Ashwatthama reveals to Raia that his walking stick is actually the dormant weapon Vijaya Dhanush, once wielded by his friend Karna during the Kurukshetra War. Meanwhile, Bhairava strikes a deal with Manas to capture Sumathi in exchange for entry into the Complex.
Bhairava infiltrates Shambhala disguised as Ashwatthama, tricking Sumathi into fleeing with him. However, the real Ashwatthama catches up, and the two battle once more. Manas and his soldiers breach Shambhala's defenses, overwhelming the rebels. Shambhala’s leader, Mariam, dies protecting Sumathi, while Ashwatthama and Bhairava fight to save her. Ashwatthama ultimately knocks Bhairava unconscious, but before Manas can claim victory, Bhairava unknowingly activates the Vijaya Dhanush, revealing himself as the reincarnation of Karna. In a trance-like state, Bhairava wields the bow and effortlessly defeats Manas and his soldiers.
Once the trance fades, Bhairava reverts to his former self, taking Sumathi away as Ashwatthama looks on.
In a mid-credits scene, Yaskin uses the serum drop extracted from Sumathi's foetus on himself, gaining partial powers of the unborn Kalki. With his newfound youth and strength, Yaskin picks up Arjuna’s legendary bow, Gandiva, and vows to personally capture Sumathi and her child to reshape the world in his image.
